TV Actress Kavita Chaudhary Dies Due To Cardiac Arrest, Was Battling Cancer; How Cancer Causes Cardiac Arrest?
TV actress Kavita Chaudhary passed away on Thursday, February 15 due to cancer. The veteran actress was also battling cancer and was undergoing treatment for the same. She was known for playing the role of IPS officer Kalyani Singh in the iconic television series ‘Udaan’. She also portrayed the role of Lalitaji in Surf commercials.
Cardiac arrest, also known as sudden cardiac arrest is a condition wherein there is an abrupt loss of heart function in a person who may or may not have been diagnosed with heart disease. The American Heart Association says, “It can come on suddenly or in the wake of other symptoms. Cardiac arrest is often fatal if appropriate steps aren’t taken immediately.”
A lot of people confuse between heart attack and cardiac arrest, thinking the two to be the same. But, the two aren’t the same.
