1). Hair Massacure and Pinking
Bald is beautiful. Throughout , several MC College campuses helped raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Here’s a recap:
Cuts for Cancer (Kelowna): In May, students were invited to Kelowna Secondary High School to shave heads for cancer awareness. Over 30 High School students cut their hair in front of an audience of people – from classmates and administrative staff to friends and families.
Hair Massacure Shave off (Edmonton): On Valentine’s Day, students and staff from the Edmonton campus collaborated with local salons to help shave heads for the annual Hair Massacure shave-off event. Throughout the event, students shaved over heads, including an Edmonton Eskimo and a local radio DJ!
