  • Constance M. Burge, a film and television writer, received her BA from UCLA in Theatre Arts as well as an MFA in Playwriting from UCLA.

    Constance, a 36-year member of the Writers Guild of America, currently has several television projects in development, in addition to teaching a masters class in Television Pilot Writing for the UCLA Theater Film and Television Department as well as The University of Georgia. She also continues to be a guest lecturer on television writing at The Carsey-Wolf Center at UCSB (The University of California, Santa Barbara.)

    Constance has sold feature film scripts to Universal, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox and Sony Studios before moving into the field of television. She created “Savannah,” the first one-hour drama for the WB Network (now The CW), followed by the long-running series “Charmed.” The 2018 reboot of the original “Charmed,” which ran for 4 Seasons, was also created by Constance.

    She was a writer and Co-Executive Producer of the television series: “Instinct,” based on the novel “Killer Games” by the award-winning novelist James Patterson, and was a writer and Executive Producer for all 8 Seasons of “Royal Pains” for the USA Network.
